Air-conditioning reliability from TF Pumps and Watson-Marlow Bredel

TF Pumps Ltd, is a specialist OEM manufacturer, producing pump systems to remove condensate from industrial and commercial air conditioning systems. The latest TF 30/60 and TFFS condensate pumps incorporate the Watson-Marlow Bredel 102R pumphead in units that are more reliable and significantly lighter, quieter and smaller than others with a similar output.

Because fluid is simply squeezed along the tube by external rollers, only the tube is subject to wear, and this has a predictable service life based on the duty cycle. Unlike other pump types, there are no 'difficult to get at' glands or seals to wear, and the pump is also capable of being run dry. In addition, as a total failsafe device for this application TF Pumps has developed a sensor that will detect the escapeof fluid in the unlikely event that a tube bursts, and switch off the air conditioning unit until the part is replaced."
